Baseball Bros: nine innings in a lunch break
Baseball Bros takes the slow parts out of baseball and keeps the duels. Every at-bat is a contest between the pitcher's choice and the batter's timing, and a full game goes by in a few minutes. The players are the big-headed bros of Blue Wizard's sports series, with nicknames like Fireman, Pivot and 3 Sheets, and every hit, out and home run gets its own shout on screen — DOUBLE PLAY!, TAGGED OUT!, THREE RUN DINGER!, GRAND SLAM!.
The heart of the game is Franchise Mode. The game makes you the new owner of a city club and gives you one goal: win the Bro Series. The season lasts 17 days, the Current Standings split the league into America East, Central and West, and after each game you pick an upgrade until your team is maxed out. Before the first pitch you can redesign the uniform piece by piece in twelve colours, so your San Diego or Cleveland looks like nobody else's.
On the mound you choose between a fastball, a curveball and a changeup. At the plate you wait for your pitch and swing; once the ball is in play the game prompts you to run, and with a runner on base it offers the chance to steal. Each club also has its own named special swing — Pinstripe Power, Cardinal Craze, Heavenly Swing and more — and a Super Bat you can earn for big moments.

Winning more in Baseball Bros
- Change speeds on the mound: A changeup after two fastballs is the cheapest strikeout in the game. Do not throw the same pitch three times in a row.
- Wait for your pitch: Swinging early at every ball gives easy fly outs. Let the first pitch go and learn the pitcher's rhythm.
- Steal against slow pitches: The steal prompt is most likely to pay off when the pitcher throws a curveball or changeup, because the ball takes longer to reach the catcher.
- Spend upgrades on your weak side: If you score plenty but leak runs, put the next upgrade into pitching or defence instead of more power.
- Save the Super Bat: Use it with runners on base. A home run with the bases loaded is a grand slam; with nobody on it is one run.
- Watch the standings: With a 17-day season every series matters. Check the Current Standings to see who you need to beat in your division.
